Our proposal
Our desire to liaise with other international institutions is not merely didactic nor methodological. Contrary to this, our objective is to propose innovative associations that can incorporate and integrate all aspects of an educational community: the development of interculturality, efficient academic assessment, the design of new learning spaces, or the conception of institutional organization.
Active Citizenship
To promote active citizenship and to understand European cultural values deeply. Our mission is to contribute to the greater good, enhancing active participation in our socio-cultural environment. In doing so students develop their interpersonal competence and gain awareness of their value as active citizens of the world, acquiring a profound understanding of the nature of the problems present in modern society.
Interculturality
To promote the importance of interculturality and the value of cultural heritage, cementing relationships with other cultures and growing competences that may help us be true citizens of the world. The intercultural classroom is a reality in most schools around the globe, posing a challenge to address and, by the same token, a gift to treasure. Our objective is to develop a programme that addresses interculturality transversally, not only in the different Erasmus projects, but mostly from our pedagogical proposal directly.
Artistic Experience
To improve the pedagogical approach to the artistic curriculum in all art courses: Music, Theatre, Design, Sculpture, and, in general, plastic arts. Our school conceives art as one of the most privileged languages to deepen our search for something true, beautiful and good. Hence, one of our most central objectives is to promote artistic projects that raise awareness of current social problems in modern society.
Embrassement
The theme of embrassement and encounter are an essential part of our educational mission. The opportunity to have concrete experiences of embrassement helps us to understand who we are and to reflect on the value of identity and relationship with others.
Digital Competence
In a world where the presence of global interconnection grows decidedly, one of our primary objectives is precisely to ensure that students and teachers acquire digital competence. Hence, we believe that the DigCom 2.1 European Framework can be an outstanding perimeter to promote critical awareness, creativity, responsibility, and common sense in the use of digital technologies.
Educational innovation
Humane, meaningful relationships are at the heart of our innovation project. Thus, it is the student-teacher relationship that constitutes the nuclear experience of education. In line with this, our conception of innovation involves profound, constant renovation; one that improves teaching and learning processes at all levels.
