Lampedusa and Helsinki in Madrid. Genetics and Identity

15 students and two teachers from Alppilan Lukio School in Helsinki and 8 students and 3 teachers from Liceo Pirandello in Lampedusa were hosted by families from San Ignacio School to participate in a STEAM project on art and science.

They were able to work from a genetic point of view on identity, on what there is in common between the human beings, and then they have represented it in figures of the nativity scene that have been exhibited in the school.
In addition, they have been able to see the reflection of the project in the cultural visits around Madrid.

Objectives

Knowing our identity through the study of our DNA
To know the cultural expressions of the Christmas period
To discover the importance of humane relationships
Rigorous research and a hand-on approach to art
