ERASMUS DAY

On June 14, the doors of the Fernández-Baldor Theater opened to welcome students, teachers and families interested in learning about the Erasmus+ project that the Center has launched throughout the 22-23 academic year.

152 mobilities throughout the last months of the year, have placed Colegio San Ignacio, in number 1 of schools with that number of mobilities in Erasmus projects.

The act, led by the professors who have promoted the project, reviewed some of the most relevant milestones of the course, leaving a space for some of the students who have participated in the Erasmus projects, to tell from their experience what it has meant for them an experience of this type.

The act ended with recognition of the work of Giovanni Alario, Director of Training and Innovation at the Center and main promoter of the Erasmus experience, and with the awarding of prizes to the winning students of the photographic contest who collected with their work the best moments of the travel to different countries in Europe.

Our third international meeting of the Erasmus KA2 project is starting in Klaipeda (Lithuania).

The Erasmus KA210 project, which began last year, is moving forward.
A project entitled Active Global Citizenship: Bridges of Interculturality, which is a privileged opportunity to address issues such as the discovery of one’s own identity, the value of the encounter with the other, the meaning of the artistic experience, social inclusion or bullying.
All these themes are the common thread of the project on which our students have been working for months in conjunction with students from schools in Italy, Lithuania and Turkey.
After the first two meetings, first in Pesaro, then in Madrid, the group participating in the project has moved to Klaipėda, in Lithuania, where students and teachers from the Klaipėdos Vydūno Gimnazija school are hosting the meeting.
During the next few days they will work together on a hot topic such as bullying, learning about the international reality and discovering the value of intercultural encounters.

Interdepartment work betwen San Ignacio and San Carlo teachers

After the signing of the collaboration agreement with the Collegio San Carlo in Milan last January, the collaboration work between centers begins, with the aim of improving student learning and providing new teaching methods and tools to teachers.

For this reason, two training days have been organized for teachers of the Italian and literature department of the San Carlo school, who have been able to attend class with the students and departmental meetings with our teachers in San Ignacio.

The didactics of grammar, the reading plan and educational technology have been some of the topics covered in this training.

International Collaboration Agreement between Collegio San Carlo and Colegio San Ignacio
